pony x baskets x ceizer
The PONY x Baskèts x Ceizer “Blue Collar Kings” collaboration is a reference to the blue collar workers living in Amsterdam’s Jordaan neighborhood where Baskèts opened its first store.
This is depicted in the collection with the choice of blue as the dominant color.
The City Wings sneakers, chosen for this collaboration, features perforated blue suede upper and light blue PONY Chevron on the inside. On the medial collar, is a coat of arms designed by typography artist Peter Ceizer.
The coat of arms is also visible on the back of the varsity jacket. The jacket is made from wool upper while its sleeves are faux leather. The theme of the collection is embroidered on the front of the jacket next to the PONY logo and PONY x Baskèts caption. The lining is a print of Ceizer’s alphabetic typography.
The third part of the triptych is a dark blue crewneck sweater featuring an embroidered ‘Blue Collar Kings’ in light blue.
