Pony x Smiley

In 1972, journalist Franklin Loufrani invented the “Smiley” and used it to highlight positive news stories. He later patented the icon and today, it’s a universal symbol of everything positive.

The PONY M-100 is the canvas for the PONY x Smiley collaboration. Two versions of the sneakers were designed with a pop art motif including the unmistakable original Smiley logo on the tongues.

The sneakers also comprise of a layered design using combinations of classic leather, tumbled leather and suede.

The capsule collection also features a crew neck sweatshirt emblazoned with “SMILE and the world smiles with you :)” further reinforcing the positive and inspirational concept of the collaboration.
